While I have received exactly 42 emails concerning the Cookies and Dignity Challenge, no one has guessed the source, nor have they entered the writing contest. So…was the quote too obscure? Too short? Did it not strike anyone as funny? I found the phrase hilarious. Cookies and dignity just don’t seem to go together, and I thought we’d get some very interesting uses of the two. But I guess not. OK. I learned a little from this, and the next challenge will be different. In the the meantime, here’s another hint: (The first hint can be found in the comments to the original challenge)

Oh that is just flagrant nonsense if I’ve ever read it. 42 people actually read this thing? No way in HellPaso. I can see right through your 42 reference, you HHG-fanatic. 4 I can believe. 2 even more so. But 42!?!
If you did pull a number out of your bum, pick a less obvious one next time.
If you didn’t and 42 people really did comment, send some my way. My 2 are looking really pathetic right now :-)
Oh Darn…. you caught me in the timeless “The Answer is 42″ screen. Now I have to ‘fess up: I only received 41.5 emails. I only counted your email as half because, well, I did. So I rounded up :)
And I refuse to give the names and addresses of the people who still aren’t comfortable making comments on blogs…so rest assured CD, FC, ER, AM, and the rest of initialized folks I know, I won’t tell your secrets here..at least not using your ‘real’ names …
Just to be fair, I really shouldn’t count emails from Court, Chris, Karl, or Rach, in which case I really received…drum roll please….31.5 emails in reference to this ONE post.
I just wish you guys would start putting your comments on HERE. please? And go visit TechiHooDoo… she’s feeling lonely.
